General Laborer

Lingo Staffing is now hiring General Laborers in the Verona, PA area to start ASAP!
 
General Laborer– This position will support multiple departments and involve handling raw materials, assisting with production processes, preparing finished parts, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is versatile, willing to learn, and comfortable performing a variety of hands-on tasks as needed.

 Pay rate: $17.00 – $18.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)
 
Schedule:

• 2nd shift:  Monday – Friday: 3:20PM – 12:00AM
• Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.

 
Job Requirements & Duties:

• Assist with receiving, unloading, and handling raw materials coming off laser cutting machines.
• Operate a saw as needed to cut materials according to production requirements.
• Break out, separate, and remove finished parts from laser-cut material using a hammer and other hand tools.
• Palletize, organize, and prepare parts for the next stage of production.
• Verify paperwork, accurately identify and itemize parts, and ensure materials are properly documented.
• Assist with moving materials and parts between departments throughout the shop.
• Provide general support to machine operators and other shop personnel as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
   

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general shop experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift.
• Comfortable using basic hand tools, including hammers.
• Ability to follow instructions and accurately complete paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to assist wherever needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
