Laser Operator

Lingo Staffing is now hiring Laser Operators in the Verona, PA area to start ASAP!
 
Laser Operator– This position is responsible for operating and monitoring laser cutting equipment, including Amada machinery, to produce quality metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or industrial experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read measurements and follow production instructions.

 Pay rate: $18.00 – $20.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)
 
Schedule:

• 3rd shift:  Sunday – Thursday: 10:50AM – 7:00AM
• Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.

 
Job Requirements & Duties:

• Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment, including Amada machines.
• Load and unload raw materials and metal sheets into the laser machine.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are cut accurately and meet quality standards.
• Read work orders, production drawings, and measurements to ensure accuracy.
• Use measuring tools and a ruler to verify dimensions and finished parts.
• Perform basic quality checks and identify defects or production issues.
• Remove, sort, and organize completed parts for the next stage of production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Assist with general production and manufacturing duties as needed.
• Qualifications & Requirements
• Previous CNC laser operating experience, preferably with Amada equipment, is a plus.
• Manufacturing, fabrication, metalworking, or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to read a ruler and accurately understand measurements.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. An onsite math assessment will be provided.

   

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
