Lingo Staffing is Hiring Customer Service Representative – Logistics & Distribution in the Tampa, FL area to start ASAP!

Customer Service Representative – The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, logistics, transportation, dispatching, or delivery scheduling. This position plays an important role in coordinating deliveries, communicating with customers and drivers, managing accounts, and ensuring daily operations run smoothly. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and can multitask while delivering exceptional customer service.

Pay rate & Schedule:

• $18.00 – $19.00 Hourly
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to coordinate and schedule customer deliveries.
• Must have 2 years of customer service or administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, delivery scheduling, or dispatching strongly preferred.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, estimated arrival times, and order updates.
• Manage assigned customer accounts and maintain accurate delivery and dispatch records.
• Assist delivery drivers with scheduling concerns, customer issues, and operational challenges.
• Complete daily pre-delivery confirmation calls to customers.
• Monitor dispatch boards and coordinate delivery activities.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, complaints, and unresolved service issues.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, drivers, and internal teams.
• Enter, update, and retrieve customer information using computer systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, transportation, and operations departments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure customer information is updated.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting daily deadlines.
• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service at all times.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and general computer applications.
• Experience handling high call volumes and resolving customer concerns.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable communicating with delivery drivers, customers, and management.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in last-mile delivery operations is a plus.
• Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Office-based position supporting warehouse and logistics operations.
• Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer and telephone for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
