Lingo Staffing is hiring a Production Assistant for a leading chemical manufacturing partner in Christiansburg, VA!

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a production position working in a lab environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Large scale volume transfer (>50L) of hazardous and non-hazardous material

• ??????????????Preparation of large containers for the storage of intermediate and finished goods (rinsing, leaching, draining, drying)

• ???????Weighing of materials and subsequent quantitative transfer

• Retrieval and organization of bulk containers

• Assistance with large-volume bottling, labeling, and packaging as needed

• General production space cleaning as needed

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience required
• Chemical-handling experience preferred but not required
• Comfortable working in both a hands-on production/shipping environment and a laboratory setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures and documentation standards
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records and data
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks 

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
