Industrial Gearbox Cleaner – Entry Level

Location:Dawsonville, GA
Pay:

• 1st Shift: $17.00/hour | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:45 PM
• 2nd Shift: $18.50/hour | Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM

Overtime: Readily available on both shifts

Weekly Bonus: $50 bonus for any week worked 50+ hours

Job Summary

We are hiring entry-level Industrial Gearbox Cleaners to assist with the mechanical cleaning and preparation of large industrial gearboxes and components. This is a hands-on position that involves using various power tools, hand tools, and solvents to remove paint, rust, grease, dirt, and buildup from equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanically clean large industrial gearboxes and components
• Use power tools and hand tools to remove paint, rust, grease, and buildup
• Use approved solvents and cleaning products as required
• Scrape and prepare surfaces for the next stage of production or repair
• Follow safety procedures and proper tool-handling practices
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates are welcome
• Ability to work with hand and power tools
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work
• Ability to work around industrial equipment, solvents, dirt, grease, and debris
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
