Warehouse Equipment Operator (Forklift Driver)

Location: Plainfield, IN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay: $17/hour
Overtime: Occasional weekday and weekend overtime may be required

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate various types of warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Move, stage, and organize products throughout the warehouse.
• Safely handle and transport materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and company procedures.
• Perform equipment inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers is required.
• Forklift certification is preferred; candidates must be willing to complete required training or certification if needed.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekday and weekend overtime.
