CNC Machinist I

Lingo Staffing is now hiring an experienced CNC Machinist I in Sanford, FL to start ASAP!

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist with hands-on experience operating both CNC and manual machining equipment. This position is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce precision components while ensuring all parts meet required specifications, quality standards, and tight tolerances.

Pay & Schedule:

• $26.00-$30.00/hour (Based on Experience)
• 1^st Shift: Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Equipment Experience:
Experience with TRAK Mills is a plus. Candidates should have hands-on experience with some or all of the following equipment:

• Manual knee mills
• Manual lathes
• CNC/manual hybrid mills
• Horizontal band saws
• CNC milling and turning equipment

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components
• Experience with TRAK Mills is a plus.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, and other machining equipment as needed
• 1-3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes
• Experience with manual mills and lathes strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of G-code programming
• Experience with CAD/CAM software; SolidWorks and CAMWorks experience preferred
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments
• Work with G-code to make basic programming edits and adjustments
• Inspect completed parts using precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Identify and correct machining or quality issues
• Assist with mechanical assembly of components and finished products
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Paint, and Stockroom teams
• Provide updates on jobs and work in progress
• Perform routine machine maintenance and complete required safety logs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all established quality, safety, and production procedures

• Ability to perform machine setups and make necessary adjustments
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances
• Technical certification or machining training preferred
• Medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
