Warehouse Associate

Location: Norcross, GA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $20.00 per hour

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the warehouse by ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of inventory throughout the facility.

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and transporting materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and following all safety requirements. The Warehouse Associate will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment and will help maintain warehouse organization, fulfill customer orders, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing slips.
• Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Stage shipments for carrier pickup.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
• Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment before each shift and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage locations, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with other warehouse and manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Experience with inventory control and warehouse organization.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Experience with inventory systems or ERP software preferred.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform other physical warehouse activities.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures as required.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a warehouse environment.
