Hours: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
(Off Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays)

Pay: $15/hr

Short Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor for a daytime cleaning position in Akron, OH. This role involves maintaining clean and organized facility spaces, assisting with event setup and teardown, and cleaning a commercial kitchen area.

This is a consistent weekday schedule with long weekends every week.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and dust all facility areas

• Move tables and assist with setup/teardown as needed

• Clean and sanitize a commercial kitchen

• Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment

• Maintain clean and organized workspaces

Requirements

• Janitorial or custodial experience preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to move tables and equipment safely

• Reliable attendance and transportation

• Must be willing to comply with a national background check

Physical Requirements

This position requires walking approximately 2.5+ miles per day and standing for the duration of the shift. Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning motions with or without reasonable accommodation.
