## Job Description: Shipping & Receiving / Kitchen Prep Associate

**Location:** High Point, NC  
**Pay Rate:** $18 – $20 per hour  
**Shift:** 1st and 2nd
**Position Type:** Temp-to-Hire

### Position Summary

Lingo Staffing is seeking dependable and hardworking Shipping & Receiving / Kitchen Prep Associates for a pasta manufacturing company in High Point, NC. This position involves preparing ingredients, assisting with food production, receiving and organizing supplies, and preparing finished products for shipment.

### Essential Duties and Responsibilities

**Kitchen Prep & Food Production**
– Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
– Assist with mixing, portioning, and preparing pasta ingredients.
– Organize raw materials and supplies for daily production.
– Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food preparation areas.
– Follow food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
– Notify supervisors when ingredients or supplies are running low.

**Shipping & Receiving**
– Receive, inspect, and organize incoming ingredients, packaging materials, and supplies.
– Verify deliveries against receiving documents.
– Label, sort, and store materials in designated areas.
– Pick, pack, label, and prepare finished pasta products for shipment.
– Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
– Track inventory and report damaged or missing items.
– Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas clean and organized.

### Qualifications
– Previous experience in food preparation, food manufacturing, shipping and receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
– Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
– Basic reading, counting, and measuring skills.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Reliable attendance and punctuality.

### Physical Requirements
– Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
– Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
– Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to work in a food manufacturing facility with varying temperatures.

### Work Environment

This position is located in a pasta manufacturing facility in High Point, NC. Employees must follow all company safety, sanitation, and personal protective equipment requirements.
