Job Description
Lingo Staffing is now hiring Industrial Electrician in the Akron, OH area to start ASAP!
Industrial Electrician – Hands-on experience in electrical installation, conduit bending, wire pulling, and low-voltage controls. This position will install and wire electrical components while working from blueprints and electrical layouts. Candidates should have knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, basic NEC codes, and experience using electrical hand and power tools in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Pay rate & Scheduled:
- $23.00 Hourly
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Install and wire electrical components on manufacturing units and equipment
- Assist with electrical layouts according to blueprints and engineered drawings
- Install various electrical components and devices
- Install low-voltage control devices
- Bend and install conduit using hand benders
- Pull and route electrical wiring
- Take accurate measurements using a tape measure
- Follow proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Use hand and power tools, including:
- Conduit hand benders
- Pipe threaders
- Cordless drills
- Saws
- Impact wrenches
- Rivet/pop guns
- Vice grips, tongs, and snips
- Various air and electric-powered tools
- Follow all established electrical and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform additional electrical and production duties as needed
- Previous industrial electrical experience required
- Experience with conduit bending and wire pulling
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Familiarity with basic NEC electrical codes
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and drawings
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Experience using electrical hand and power tools
- Comfortable climbing ladders and using fall-protection equipment
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
