Panel Assembler

Lingo Staffing is now hiring Panel Builders in the Akron, OH area to start ASAP!

Monday – Thursday  7pm to 5:30am,  

Panel Builder – Assemble and insulate panels according to blueprints and engineered drawings. This hands-on manufacturing position requires experience using tape measures, drills, rivet guns, and other hand tools. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical assembly work, working as part of a team, and lifting or flipping heavy panels with assistance.

Pay rate & Scheduled:

• $17.00 Hourly (Shift Differential)
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday:

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Pre-stage materials for the panel assembly process
• Assemble and insulate panels according to blueprints and engineered drawings
• Take accurate measurements using a tape measure
• Use hand and power tools including:
  • Drills
  • Rivet guns
  • Utility knives
  • Roller presses
  • General hand tools
• Consolidate completed panels onto carts
• Inspect work to ensure panels are assembled correctly
• Follow all established safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional production and assembly duties as needed
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Previous manufacturing, construction, or mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to lift and flip panels weighing 50-175 lbs. with assistance from coworkers
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, push, pull, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
