Lingo Staffing is now hiring Unit Builders in the Akron, OH area to start ASAP!

Unit Builder – Assemble air handling units and install components such as motors, fans, coils, and filters. This is a hands-on manufacturing position that requires experience using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing physical assembly work throughout the shift.

Pay rate & Scheduled:

• $17.00 Hourly
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday: 8:00AM – 4:00PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Assemble air handling units, including pans, sills, walls, and roofs
• Install components such as motors, fans, coils, and filters
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Previous experience with hand and power tools required
• Take accurate measurements using a tape measure
• Apply silicone and sealants during the assembly process
• Use various hand and power tools, including:
• Handheld drills, Impact wrenches, Rivet guns, Caulking guns, Sawzalls, Circular saws, Snips and cutoff wheels, Vice grips/tongs, General hand tools.
• Operate band saws, table saws, and chop saws as needed
• Clean completed units and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Perform additional production and assembly duties as needed
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus
• Overhead crane experience is a plus
• Manufacturing, mechanical assembly, HVAC, construction, or similar experience preferred
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and using fall-protection equipment
• Ability to lift and flip up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
