Position Overview The Inside Sales Specialist will work directly with contractors, builders, and commercial clients to help them find the right door and hardware solutions for their projects. You will use your technical knowledge to guide customers, prepare quotes, and manage orders from inquiry through completion. This role is relationship-driven and product-focused, not cold-call commission sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and commercial customers with product selection, pricing, and technical questions on doors, frames, and hardware
• Prepare quotes and proposals for commercial door and hardware packages
• Process orders and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
• Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers and contractors
• Review project specifications and provide guidance on product fit and substitutions
• Track customer activity and project status using internal systems
• Support the outside sales team with inside coordination and follow-through

Qualifications

• Hands-on background in carpentry, door installation, millwork, or a related trade
• Familiarity with commercial doors, frames, and hardware products strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Organized and able to manage multiple orders or projects at once
• Comfortable working in an office setting and learning product and sales systems
