Lingo Staffing is now hiring Mail Sorters in the Orlando, FL area to start ASAP!

Mail Sorters – Responsible for sorting, scanning, and processing mail and packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates will be responsible for making sure mail and packages are properly sorted, labeled, and prepared for shipment.

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay: $15.00-$17.50/hour (Based on Shift)
• 2^nd and 3^rd Shift Available
• Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Sort, scan, and organize mail and packages by destination.
• Previous presort, mail sorting, package handling, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of USPS labels and mail preparation is a plus.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to identify labeling or barcode errors.
• Stack and prepare packages on pallets for shipment.
• Check labels, barcodes, postage, dates, and other shipping information for accuracy.
• Identify and report incorrect labels, bad barcodes, or damaged packages.
• Understand USPS labels, ZIP codes, bin numbers, and tray numbers.
• Operate mail sorting and warehouse equipment.
• Clear basic jams and troubleshoot sorting equipment as needed.
• Complete quality checks before mail and packages are processed or shipped.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Assist with picking, loading, and unloading trucks as needed.
• Keep track of incoming inventory.
• Make sure mail and packages are completed on time for scheduled truck departures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as needed.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, and move throughout the shift.
• Reliable transportation.
• Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
