Lingo Staffing is now hiring Batcher in the Pittsburgh area to start ASAP!

Batcher – Responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, mixing, and preparing raw materials according to established batch formulas and production instructions. This position operates batching and mixing equipment, follows GMP and safety procedures, completes required production documentation, and ensures each batch meets quality standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay rate & Scheduled:

• $17.00 – $19.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)
• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday: 3:00PM – 11:30PM
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
   

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Perform daily manufacturing activities including batching, mixing, labeling, packaging, and material handling
• Must have 1-3 years of production or manufacturing experience required.
• Must have 2 plus years of Chemical manufacturing, batching, mixing, blending, or process manufacturing experience.
• Follow detailed batch formulations, processing instructions, and production procedures
• Operate and monitor equipment used in powder and liquid processing systems
• Monitor valves, product flow, temperatures, pressures, and other processing requirements
• Ensure proper valve positioning and follow sequential processing steps
• Read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for materials and chemicals being handled
• Accurately measure and calculate materials according to batch requirements
• Monitor equipment and identify potential mechanical or production issues
• Communicate any equipment, quality, or process concerns to supervisors
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
• Work closely with production team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand pipe flow, valves, and processing systems
• Strong basic math skills and ability to perform production-related calculations
• Ability to read and understand: Batch formulations, Processing instructions, Safety procedures, Temperatures, pressures, and flow rates, Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to recognize and anticipate potential production or equipment issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
