Lingo Staffing is looking for a Quality Control Inspector in Trumbull, CT to make sure every product matches customer specs and engineering drawings before it ships. If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy hands-on inspection work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is a great fit.

Pay: $20/hour

What You'll Do

• Inspect finished products against engineering drawings using dimensional and visual checks, then accept or reject based on customer specs
• Use specialized tools to weigh and measure products, check moisture content of wood, and gauge overall workmanship and reliability
• Verify finished goods meet all requirements, including stenciling, loose or miscellaneous materials, and special handling like shock/tilt indicators and custom labels
• Record, track, and update inspection data in the system and help pull reports as needed
• Review customer designs and share feedback with the Design team
• Flag nonconformances or inefficiencies to manufacturing and support teams
• Take part in ISO 9001 audits to keep everything compliant

What We're Looking For

• 1 year of manufacturing experience or demonstrated proficiency
• 1 year of quality inspection experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Able to read a tape measure down to 1/16″
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings to confirm product matches design
• Solid MS Word and Excel skills, plus the ability to learn proprietary software
• Strong English communication, written and verbal (bilingual Spanish is a plus)
• Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
