Industrial Maintenance Technician

Barberton, Ohio
  Pay: $20-$23 hour to start
  Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  Excellent Benefits: Company pays 85% of premium

We are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to support both equipment and facility maintenance within our manufacturing environment. This role will perform general maintenance duties to help maintain safe, clean, and efficient operations throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general building and facility maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and machinery
• Change light bulbs and complete minor electrical repairs
• Perform plumbing, painting, and basic carpentry repairs as needed
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety standards
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks on production equipment
• Update and inspect fire extinguishers and other safety equipment
• Operate forklifts, lifts, or maintenance vehicles when needed
• Assist with outdoor maintenance including snow plowing and grounds upkeep
• Support additional maintenance projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus
• Valid driver’s license
