Warehouse Worker (Direct Hire)
Location: Forest Park, GA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $17.00–$19.00 per hour Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
We are growing and looking for a reliable, motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team! This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable Monday–Friday schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to producing quality work. Candidates must be forklift certified and able to safely lift, push, pull, or move at least 50 lbs.
Job Responsibilities
Pick and fill customer orders accurately using pick tickets.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Receive, identify, and document incoming products according to company procedures.
Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies.
Perform physical inventory counts and inventory verification.
Follow established warehouse procedures and complete assigned tasks accurately.
Load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of spices, herbs, and other products.
Keep warehouse racks, pallets, and storage areas organized and sanitary.
Report damaged products, contamination risks, or safety hazards immediately.
Complete food safety, forklift, and warehouse-specific training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be forklift certified (required).
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail with accurate picking and packing skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Dependable with reliable transportation.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs.
