Warehouse Clerks – In the stone industry is responsible for receiving, storing, and managing various stone products like granite, marble, and limestone slabs within a warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, proper handling to prevent damage, and timely fulfillment of customer orders, often requiring knowledge of stone types, sizes, and quality standards while utilizing forklift operation skills to move heavy stone materials.
Pay rate: $18.00 - $21.00 Hourly (Based on Experience)
Scheduled:
1st shift: Monday – Friday
Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.
Job Description & Duties:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming stone materials.
2 years of previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in the stone or building materials industry.
Must have 2 years of Forklift experience.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.
Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies.
Pick, pack, and prepare stone products for shipment.
Ensure orders are accurate and properly labeled.
Coordinate with logistics for timely deliveries.
Forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment are safely operated.
Move and store stone slabs, tiles, and related products.
Ensure the safe handling and storage of fragile and heavy materials.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
Complete shipping and receiving paperwork accurately.
Update digital records and ensure data accuracy.
Proficient in inventory management software and basic computer applications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Warehouse setting with exposure to dust and varying temperatures.
Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
