Job Title: Material Handler Location: Alpharetta, GA Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMPay-$18.00 an hour weekly pay Employment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary: We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. This role is directly responsible for the safe and efficient loading, unloading, movement, and tracking of materials throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will be experienced with operating overhead cranes and forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment.Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
Receive incoming materials and properly tag and record them in the system.
Maintain material flow to production lines to prevent downtime.
Perform inventory and shipping/receiving functions using internal computer systems.
Ensure all materials are handled in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Assist with general warehouse and plant duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for the entire shift.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience operating forklifts and/or overhead cranes preferred (certification a plus).
Basic computer skills for inventory tagging and data entry.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
