Lingo Staffing is hiring for a Valve Repair Technician in the Oklahoma City area! Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 hrs/wk Pay Rate: $18.00/hr Job Summary: Join our team as a Valve Technician, where you'll be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and re-machining of valves. This role involves working with a mobile unit, performing shop maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols. Duties:
Disassemble valves
Perform sandblasting and cleaning
Inspect valves for quality
Document testing, repairs, and valve information
Demonstrate excellent customer relations
Re-machine or lap critical parts
Perform shop maintenance tasks
Travel with the mobile unit
Requirements:
Ability to climb heights of up to 100 feet
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds
Wear a respirator when required
Pass repair tests for Valve Nomenclature, ASME Codes, NBIC Codes, and the Quality Control Manual within three months
