Lingo Staffing is looking to hire a Test Technician located in Round Rock, TxSchedule· M-F 8:00a – 4:30p· 8-hour shiftPay rate $16.00-$17.00 DOE Responsibilities:The Testing Technician will be responsible for testing, maintaining, assembly, troubleshooting, and repairing computer equipment.A Successful Candidate Will Have:· The ability to use essential tools and equipment to operate various equipment· Be able to follow verbal and written instructions· A strong work ethic· Able to work with limited supervision· Perform all functions of the job in a safe and professional manner· Keep work area(s) in neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition· Other tasks/responsibilities as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:· Advanced understanding of computer hardware and software· Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and tools associated with computer hardware/software· Perform testing, assembly, troubleshooting, and repair· Perform in-process inspection· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment· Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsEducation and Experience for a Successful Candidate:· GED/High School Diploma· A+ Certification – desired, not required· Network+ Certification – desired, not required· Mechanically inclined· Experience with general computer systems/components· Some experience with networking, raid controllers, or switchesJob Type: Full-time If interested please call 512-879-4900 or go online to apply lingostaffing.com INDRR
