Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Technical Sales & Service Representative to join our team. This hybrid role combines both inside and outside sales responsibilities, focusing on high-value heavy equipment solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing long sales cycles, developing strong customer relationships, and providing technical support throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate heavy equipment solutions
Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing (average deal size ~$1M)
Conduct both remote (inside sales) and in-person (outside sales) client interactions
Provide technical guidance and product support to customers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
Travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events (including occasional overnight travel)
Qualifications:
Experience in technical sales, heavy equipment, or a related field preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
Comfortable working in a hybrid sales environment (office + field)
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Some overnight travel required (per diem provided)
