Lingo Staffing is hiring immediately for a Structural Steel Detailer in Winston Salem, NC.
Background and drug screen required.
Duties:
- Perform detailed design work using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Create and modify 2D and 3D models of products and systems
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop mechanical and system designs
- Prepare technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for manufacturing or construction purposes
- Conduct research to gather information on materials, components, and design techniques
- Review and analyze design specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance with regulations
- Make necessary adjustments to designs based on feedback and testing results
- Collaborate with interior designers and graphic designers to create visually appealing product designs
Skills:
- Proficiency in mechanical design principles and techniques
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Ability to create detailed technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with 2D animation software is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
