 Position: Solar Facility Project ManagerType: Direct HireLocation: Taylors, SCHours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pmReports to: Company’s Director of ConstructionSalary Range: Based on ExperienceJob Overview:Lingo Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Facility Project Manager to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of solar energy projects, from initial design and engineering to successful installation and interconnection. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial solar projects, including working with engineers, utilities, and understanding Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). They will be instrumental in driving projects forward, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders throughout the entire process.Qualifications:
  1. Commercial Solar Experience
  2. Experience with PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements)
  3. Previous history of working with Utilities and Engineers
Key Responsibilities:
  • Works with the Company's project managers to ensure successful installation of solar facilities
  • Occasional travel to project sites
  • Project Oversight: Lead and manage solar energy projects from inception through completion, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and project goals are met.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct detailed due diligence for each project, evaluating site conditions, regulatory requirements, and utility interconnection needs.
  • Utility Coordination: Work directly with utility companies to assess interconnection options, obtain necessary permits, and determine the feasibility of each project.
  • Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs): Work with legal and finance teams to assess PPA opportunities, negotiate terms, and manage relationships with buyers.
  • Engineering & Design: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure the solar system meets performance and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution.
  • Budget & Timeline Management: Create, monitor, and update project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with project milestones and objectives.
  • Compliance & Permitting: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Obtain all necessary permits for construction and operation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee post-installation operations, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance reporting.
