Lingo Staffing is now hiring Sign Fabricators in the Longwood, FL area.
Sign Fabricator - Designs, builds, and installs signs for businesses and organizations. They work with a variety of materials, including wood, vinyl, and metal. Candidate must have Sign Shop Experience and their own hand tools.
Pay rate & Schedule:
$19 - $25 Hourly (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
Monday – Friday: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
Job Requirements & Duties:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Sign Shop experience
Must have their own hand tools experience with sign fabrication tools and equipment such as welding machines, saws, and routers.
Must have Welding experience including – Mig welding
Must have experience working with Sheet metal
Must have Spray Painting experience
Create signs based on client needs, blueprints, or layouts.
Use tools like saws, drills, and grinders to cut, shape, and assemble signs.
Ensure signs are installed correctly, including electrical wiring and structural supports.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
Operate hand and power tools
Use computer-aided design and manufacturing systems
Use software to design and size signs
Use hydraulic equipment, such as shear machines and drill presses
Use stencils and silk screens to paint signs
Stand, walk, reach, and use hands to handle and feel
See clearly at close and far distances, and perceive color, depth, and peripheral vision
Occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ensure proper safety measures are used during sign fabrication
