Perform sewing functions to assemble product pieces.
Receive product pieces, draw threads through needles, and adjust machine functions to meet sewing project requirements.
Work with a team to improve production processes and achieve daily goals.
Level 1 Responsibilities:
Assemble parts of any product using one machine.
Achieve a quality level of 97% and production efficiency levels of 80% within a 90-day probationary period.
Demonstrate continuous improvement towards achieving 100% efficiency on assigned work within 6 months.
Skills Required:
Regular and predictable attendance.
Compliance with company safety and attendance policies.
Effective communication skills.
Sewing skills and the ability to cross-train on various sewing processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Basic computer knowledge.
Knowledgeable use of the sewing machine.
Previous Work Experience:1 to 3 months of industrial sewing and/or training preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:
20/20 vision or corrected to 20/20.
Ability to stand for a full shift.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to work in a moderate noise level.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to reach, stretch, and bend.
Ability to perceive colors and shades of colors.
