Lingo Staffing is hiring a Sew On Associate in Glasgow, VA! Hours: 11:00 pm – 7:30 am, Sunday- Thursday*overtime and weekends as needed* Pay rate: $16.61/hour The sew on associate will be responsible for pulling rolls of carpet from the racks and sewing them end to end. They will be required to do necessary quality checks on the product. They will also be responsible for removing and weighing scarp carpet, pulling any damaged product, and entering information into the computer system. Associate will also be responsible for looking for lost rolls or carpets and repairing holes. Requirements:
Must be able to stand 8+ hours on a concrete floor in steel toes
Required to lift up to 50lbs continuously
Required to travel up and down 3 flights of stairs.
Basic math & computer skills required
Color vision required
Willing to cross-train in all areas of the manufacturing plant
Must have reliable transportation to and from Glasgow
May be required to stand for 12 hours continuously.
