Thermal Spray OperatorFirst shift no weekends $22- $25+ hour based on experience.Cross train in many areas Benefits 85% paidMedical, Dental, life insurance, disability, Vacation, and holiday pay, Direct deposit, Credit union 40 hours PTO after 90 days Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Thermal Spray Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying thermal spray coatings to a variety of components using specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, grit blasting/sandblasting, and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of robotic programming is a plus but not required.Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain thermal spray equipment to apply coatings per specifications.
Perform surface preparation, including grit blasting/sandblasting, to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
Follow technical drawings and job specifications to ensure coating applications meet quality standards.
Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings to achieve desired coating thickness and uniformity.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of thermal spray equipment to minimize downtime.
Inspect coated components for quality assurance and adherence to required specifications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production schedules.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with welding or grit blasting/sandblasting operations.
Familiarity with thermal spray processes, such as plasma spray, HVOF, or arc spray.
Knowledge of robot programming and operation (nice to have, not required).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials as needed.
Comfortable working in a high-temperature, high-noise environment while wearing appropriate safety gear.
