Job Title: SMT Machine Setup Lead / Electronics Assembly Lead
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (mandatory overtime as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Milford
About the Role
We’re hiring an SMT Machine Setup Lead to support our electronics manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on electronics or SMT experience who enjoys working with precision equipment and helping prepare jobs for production.

You’ll work in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment setting up circuit board jobs before they go to the production floor. This is a mix of technical setup work and team leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up SMT machines for prototype and production jobs

  • Load electronic components into automated SMT feeders

  • Organize, count, and verify components before production

  • Use a computer to assist with setup and generate reports

  • Verify customer materials (part numbers, quantities, packaging)

  • Lead and support other setup team members

  • Ensure all jobs are ready and accurate before release to production
What We’re Looking For

  • Experience identifying electronic components (resistors, capacitors, transistors, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of SMT or electronics manufacturing

  • Strong attention to detail and counting skills

  • Comfortable using a computer (Excel experience a plus)

  • Good communication skills and ability to guide others

  • Organized, reliable, and able to follow detailed instructions
Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with SMT machines (FUJI or MYDATA)

  • IPC-610 knowledge

  • ESD experience

  • Formal electronics training
Physical Requirements

  • Good eyesight for working with small components

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and steady hands

  • Comfortable working with delicate parts and microscopes
