Purchasing Agent Opportunity Explore a rewarding career as a Purchasing Agent! Key Responsibilities: • Assist in setting up new vendors, terms, and conditions, and negotiate pricing. • Purchase goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Coordinate with managers to maintain inventory levels. • Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history. • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate volume and cash transaction discounts, as well as other available discounts. • Ensure purchasing documents are complete, accurate, and include appropriate terms and conditions. • Maintain pricing histories and other vendor records. • Utilize computer skills in Excel, Word, and Sage 100. • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proven negotiation skills. • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills. • Showcase outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
