Job Description:
Lingo Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to support our finance team with daily accounting duties. The successful candidate will assist with data entry, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and general ledger support to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency with accounting software, and excellent organizational skills to help maintain smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter and verify financial data accurately into accounting systems.
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
Assist with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with petty cash, bank deposits, and other routine financial procedures.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and processes.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
