Job Description

Lingo Staffing, Inc. is hiring Press Operators IMMEDIATELY! Seeking a role that is responsible for performing various tasks to ensure efficient and high-quality production?Key duties include setting up the machine, monitoring and making necessary adjustments during operation, inspecting the machine for proper functionality, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Pay rate: $18/hrShift: 1st
Responsibilities1. Machine Setup and Operation

Set up machines (e.g., calibration, cleaning) to initiate production cycles.
Adjust machine settings, including speed, pressure, and temperature, to meet production requirements.
Operate compression molding/plastic machinery (experience preferred).
Report major malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance personnel.

2. Monitoring and Quality Control

Monitor machine operations to detect and address issues or malfunctions.
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Fine-tune machines as needed to maintain quality standards.

3. Safety and Compliance

Follow company and OSHA safety regulations.
Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.

4. Collaboration

Coordinate with production staff to ensure smooth workflow.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and maintenance teams to optimize machinery performance.

Requirements/Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training preferred for some roles).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
1–2 years of experience operating machinery in a production environment preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for quality checks.
Basic knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
