Job Description

Plant Manager experience in Steel, Chemical, Power, and/or Oil & Gas industries.
Direct hire  
Hours are 7am - 4pm about 45 hours a week.  
We are seeking a leader for our Youngstown, OH facility.Skilled in all aspects ofmanufacturing, you will manage a talented workforce in the creation of world class equipment.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • - Maintain a safe work environment.
  • - Deliver a quality product on time.
  • - Direct all facets of manufacturing operations, leading Production, Maintenance, Materials
  • Management, Manufacturing Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
  • - Develop and implement operational metrics to track progress against goals.
  • - Maintain and control the facilities ASME Code stamps, Sections I, IV and VIII.
Education / Experience Required
  • - Understanding of ASME / AWS welding and welding codes.
  • - A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing or industrial science is a plus.
  • - Experience leading continuous improvement and lean management programs, hands on manufacturing experience,
       **** preferably in welding, fabrication, and assembly in low volume/high complexity environment.
  • - Must be able to read and interpret drawings for manufacturing.
  • - Proficiency and hands on experience in MRP and Lean Manufacturing.
  • - Experience leading teams of 25-50 people.
  • - Ten (10) or more years of manufacturing operations experience with roles of progressively
  • increasing responsibility; Three (3) or more years of experience as a Plant Manager.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in Steel, Chemical, Power, and/or Oil & Gas industries.
