Plant Manager – Manufacturing
Bilingual Spanish / English (Fluent) Location: Mesquite, TX Compensation: $102,000–$127,000/year Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM Relocation: Not offered – local candidates only
Lingo Staffing is hiring an experienced Plant Manager for a manufacturing facility of approximately 50 employees in Mesquite, Texas. This role is responsible for end-to-end plant operations, people leadership, financial performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires a hands-on manufacturing leader who is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable spending significant time on the production floor. Candidates must have a college degree, preferably in Engineering, Operations, or Management.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Operations & Financial Leadership
Oversee daily manufacturing operations with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
Manage and report on KPIs, throughput, takt time, scrap, labor efficiency, and plant P&L.
Analyze manufacturing workflows to identify and execute cost reduction, efficiency, and quality improvements.
Ensure consistent execution of standard work, production controls, and quality systems.
People & Floor Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a plant team of 40+ employees across production, maintenance, and support functions.
Act as a visible, hands-on leader on the production floor, supporting supervisors and operators daily.
Foster a high-accountability, high-engagement culture focused on teamwork, safety, and results.
Communicate clearly and effectively with a bilingual workforce (English/Spanish).
Continuous Improvement & Systems
Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across all departments.
Lead process improvement, automation, and system implementation efforts to support operational growth.
Apply total process control principles, including documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Partner with senior leadership on plant strategy, capacity planning, and long-term operational goals.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Management.
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a plant, production, or operations environment.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, CI tools, and KPI-driven management.
Demonstrated ownership of budgets, labor planning, and financial performance.
Strong problem-solving, coaching, and decision-making skills.
