Industrial HR Liaison Location: Strasburg, OH Shift: First Shift, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Thursday, Fridays as needed Employment Type: Direct hire Full-TimeGreat benefits Pay: Starts $24+ with $1 raise after 90 days. Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Industrial HR Liaison to support our plant operations and serve as a bridge between the Human Resources team and shop floor employees. This unique, hands-on role requires a professional who understands industrial work environments, welding and fabrication processes a plus, and is comfortable assisting in warehouse operations and operating a forklift as needed.This individual will play a key role in fostering strong communication, ensuring a positive work culture, supporting team members, and promoting operational efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
Act as the on-site liaison between HR and plant floor employees, supporting communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement.
Provide day-to-day support to production team members in areas such as onboarding, safety practices, policy clarification, and attendance tracking.
Participate in planning events, Holiday parties, Employee appreciation lunches
Explanation of benefits to new employees and be able to assist in answering questions to employees
Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives across departments.
Support warehouse operations, including loading/unloading materials, inventory control, and general logistics assistance.
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to support daily production and warehouse needs.
Report workplace concerns or feedback from team members to HR leadership.
Promote and support a safe work environment; report and assist in investigating incidents when necessary.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Prior HR experience or strong communication/interpersonal skills preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
Ability to multitask and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
Able to communicate with management and employees
Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
Work Environment:
Primarily on the plant floor and in warehouse areas.
Must be comfortable wearing PPE and adhering to safety protocols.
Physical work may include lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods, and performing warehouse tasks.
