Lingo Staffing is now hiring a PLUMBING Counter Sales Associate in the Ocoee, FL area to start ASAP!



 PLUMBING Counter Sales Associate – We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Plumbing Counter Sales Associate to join our plumbing supply team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service at the sales counter, assisting professional plumbers and contractors with their supply needs, and ensuring smooth order processing and fulfillment. 



Pay rate: $17.00 Hourly 


Schedule:
  • 1st shift: Monday – Friday: 7:00AM – 4:30PM 
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
 



Job Requirements & Duties:
  • Must 1 year of plumbing supply experience. 
  • Great and assist plumbing contractors and customers at the sales counter.
  • Identify appropriate parts, tools, and materials for plumbing jobs
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and job specs
  • Process sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • Handle phone inquiries and place orders for special requests or back-ordered items
  • Maintain knowledge of current inventory and restock shelves as needed
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff for order fulfillment and deliveries
  • Keep the counter and showroom area clean and organized
  • Plumbing product knowledge (fittings, valves, pipes, fixtures, etc.)
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to read plumbing blueprints/schematics (a plus)
  • Experience with inventory systems and POS software
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Forklift certification (sometimes required)
  • Fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Typically, in a warehouse or store setting
  • May involve lifting heavy items or navigating large product aisles
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Flexible schedule.
