Lingo Staffing is now hiring a Marketing Assistant in Roanoke, VA. Hours: 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday Pay: $16 - $18 / hour The marketing assistant is responsible for performing administrative assistance to the marketing team including functions that support marketing efforts, projects, and other departmental commitments. Job Duties:
Maintain marketing databases and assist with data entry tasks as needed. Support the planning and execution of marketing events such as tradeshow coordination, travel and shipping logistics.
Assist with bank deposits, mail distribution, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars
Maintaining deadlines and payment schedules with support from the Marketing Manager
Job Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative or marketing support role preferred
Okay with working a 4-6 month temporary assignment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
