MIG and TIG Welder - $22-27/hour – Roanoke, VA Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:45am-4:15pm Type: Contract to Perm Pay: $22-27/hour depending on experience Location: Hollins, VA 24019 Industry: Manufacturing
Lingo Staffing is hiring a Welder for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA!
Key Responsibilities:
Fit and weld non-pressurized structural weldments according to blueprints and specifications
Perform Flux Core Arc welding and MIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials as well as operate plasma cutters and torches for cutting and preparation of materials
Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and conformance to standards
Requirements:
1-2 years experience in a hands-on welding position
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
Comfortable standing and/or walking for the entirety of a shift
Must be able to pass a hands-on welding test at client interview
Screening:
Candidates may be asked to complete client-specific screenings, such as background checks or drug testing
