Lingo Staffing is hiring an Assistant Press Operator for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA!
This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to build experience in printing manufacturing, learn press operations, and grow into a long-term role. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Press Operator with preparing, setting up, and maintaining printing presses
Load materials into feeder systems and remove finished products for packaging
Perform material handling duties, including supplying materials and removing waste from production areas
Support general production tasks such as box assembly, cleaning work areas, and assisting shipping and receiving as needed
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Requirements:
Experience in manufacturing, printing, packaging, or machine operation preferred
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working around moving machinery, rollers, ink systems, and high-speed production lines
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Previous experience with printing, bindery, or finishing equipment is a plus
Must have color vision
