Lingo Staffing is Now Hiring for a Quality Control Inspector in Hartville, OH
Hours: 1st Shift: 7:30am- 4pm ($15) 2nd Shift: 3:30pm–12:00am ($16/hr)
Days: Monday–Friday Pay: $15/hr (1st shift) • $16/hr (2nd shift)
Short Description:
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspectors for a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment in Hartville, OH. QC Inspectors are responsible for performing first-piece inspections, monitoring in-process quality, completing documentation, auditing packaging, identifying defects, and ensuring all production meets LMT’s established quality standards. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, communicating across shifts, and maintaining accuracy throughout the shift.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or similar environment (plastics preferred)
High school diploma or GED
Ability to inspect parts visually and identify defects (splay, burns, shorts, contamination, flash, etc.)
Ability to complete inspection paperwork, production sheets, and documentation accurately
Able to use scales, gauges, check fixtures, and basic testing tools
Ability to read, compare, and verify first-piece samples
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Good communication skills; able to communicate across shifts
Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
Must be willing to comply with a national background check
? Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to walk extended distances (approximately 2.5+ miles per day) and remain on your feet for the entire shift. Employees must be able to bend, twist, stand, stoop, and lift as part of daily duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
