Job Description

Molding and rotational casting (Polyurethane) 
First shift 
excellent benefits 
Pay based on experience $23-27 
BACKGROUND and EXPERIENCE:
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
  • Machining experience 
  • Polyurethane experience preferred 
  • Rubber mixing experience helpful
  • Rubber Extrusion experience

  • Ability to successfully work within a team environment
  • Aptitude and affinity for mechanical concepts
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and safety
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn and take on new challenges
  • Problem solving
  • The ability to read and understand the Work Instructions and Production Specifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely and efficiently using a Crane and Towmotor
  • Incoming inspections including measurements with calipers and micrometers.
  • Removal of soft (Rubber and PU) covers using a tooling lathe
  • Back sanding of rollers to achieve clean steel finishes
  • Grit blasting of rollers within a lathe, using a vacuum blasting unit
  • Mixing and Application of adhesive systems
  • Covering of rollers using a Polyurethane system
  • Soft covers using a system to cast PU into molds
  • Hard covers using a system to Ribbon cast fast curing Polyurethane directly onto rotating rollers.
  • Wrapping of rollers in plastic sheets and/or Nylon at tension
  • Preparation and maintenance of Molds
  • Operates and Elastomer Stripping Machine
  •  Polyurethane Casting Machine
  •  Polyurethane Ribbon flow Machine
  •  Vacuum blasting
  • Monitors equipment to ensure machine is working properly
