Job Description


Maintenance technician 

Direct hire 
Excellent benefits 

2nd shift    Overtime as needed. 

Pay based on level of experience. $22-24.50 

Climate control work environment 

Summary 

Repair, assemble and maintain machinery, dies, jigs and equipment.  

Skills and Abilities Required
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings and engineering instruction. 
  • Knowledge of 480-volt electrical systems 
  • Omron and Mitsubishis PLC Controls  
  • Able to concentrate on the task at hand. 
  • Strong communication skills 

Job duties 
  • Follow safety policies and procedures. 
  • Preventative and corrective Machine maintenance 
  • Analyses mechanical and electrical operational problems on assigned equipment. 
  • Make necessary corrections and adjustments to maintain maximum quality and production. 
  • Test machinery and equipment for proper operation 
  • Precision measure and gauging tools 
  • Plumbing
  • Hand tools 
  • Power tolls 
  • Welding 

Education or training
  • Completion of formal apprenticeship program, technical certificate or in house maintenance training program 
  • Machine maintenance work experience 

Physical requirements 
  • Lift 75 pounds 
  • Able to walk up a ladder. 
  • Able to work overtime.
