Job Description: Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician
Type: Direct HireShift

Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Wage Range

$28 - $30/hr

Summary

Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Work aligns with safety, predictive, and productive maintenance processes.

Responsibilities and DutiesMachinery and Troubleshooting

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment:
- Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC’s, and Ladder Logic skills required.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns on machines, tools, and equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis to improve equipment serviceability and reliability.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems; repair or replace parts, test, and adjust.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during machine downtime.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Ensure successful testing of equipment after repairs.
Transition from reactive to proactive maintenance approaches.

Industrial & Mechanical Knowledge

Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and electrical drawings to perform maintenance and services.
Expertise with PLC (Programmable Logic Controls), Allen-Bradley, Siemens Controls, and drive components.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and 24VDC/480VAC systems.
Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments like calipers.
Maintain technical competency and stay updated on industry changes.

Education & Experience Requirements

1-2 years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.
Basic testing meters/tools required.
Steady work history with a good attendance record.
Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during a shift.
Meet physical demands, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching for up to 8 hours a day.
