Lingo Staffing is now hiring a Maintenance Technician in Roanoke, VA! Hours: 2nd Shift Monday – Thursday 3:30 pm – 3:00 am *weekends and overtime as needed* Pay: $27.00 / hour +$3 shift differential once on 2nd shift. *Training takes place on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks* The Maintenance Technician is responsible is responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems and their components with hand tools, identifying and repairing breakdowns on electrical motors, transformers and other electromechanical components. Job Requirements:
Good knowledge of heavy machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. PLC knowledge is a plus.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
Preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
Basic computer programming skills.
Safe work ethics.
Autonomous, resourceful, organized, and thorough.
Experience in a similar position.
