Lingo Staffing is hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor in the Dallas, TX area!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7pm – 4am
Pay: TBD based on Experience

Job Summary:
Lingos Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager responsible for coordinating and directing all maintenance activities to achieve maximum operational efficiency and ensure the production of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervise assigned work groups, ensuring effective selection, retention, and performance management of maintenance employees.
  • Make recommendations to the Plant Manager concerning policies, procedures, techniques, facilities, and other matters related to effective department and company operations.
  • Provide resources and guidance to maintenance employees for diagnosing and repairing production lines and systems, mechanical and electrical circuitry, and performing minor building and plumbing repairs.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work within assigned areas through supervisors to ensure the plant is maintained to produce and ship products at the lowest possible cost while meeting quality and quantity specifications.
  • Coordinate maintenance, production schedules, and labor to meet production needs.
  • Maintain supply and repair parts inventory and product loss control.
  • Ensure compliance with company, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Assist the Plant Manager in preparing capital and operating budgets.
  • Implement and drive process consistency and cross-functional collaboration using Continuous Improvement methodology for process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Build a high-achieving maintenance team capable of sustaining the company’s profitability, goals, and vision.
  • Develop and maintain positive, productive relationships with the supply chain leadership team.
  • Partner with all functional departments to ensure the business unit and company safety, service, cost, and people goals are met.
  • Benchmark and set targets for overall maintenance department performance and personnel.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Follow and enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Wear and enforce wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Follow and enforce all food safety and quality system requirements, meeting all pertinent regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Primary language skill is English; bilingual skills may be beneficial based on business necessity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships to drive company strategy and efficient methods in achieving the lowest landed cost possible.
  • Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks and removing obstacles.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex sets of data and make business recommendations based on analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with capital and working budgets, P&L, regulatory body compliance, and manufacturing operations required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of significant, direct, and practical Maintenance Management experience in the food/beverage, consumer products, or manufacturing industry is required.
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology is highly preferred.
Physical Demand/Working Conditions:
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Exposure to nut allergens.
  • Must frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with a full range of body motion.
  • Must routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
  • Must work in an office environment, extended periods in cold, damp, and hot environments.
  • Must work in variable weather conditions.
