Maintenance Tech Level IIJob Title: Maintenance Technician Level II Location: Roanoke, VA Company: Lingo Staffing Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shiftJob Summary:Lingo Staffing is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician Level II for a manufacturing facility in Roanoke, VA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting.Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and systems as needed.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Assist with new equipment installations and modifications.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
Follow safety protocols and LOTO procedures at all times.
Support production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production and maintenance goals.
Qualifications:
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and pumps.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting is a plus (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred).
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
