Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to run a Flexo Folder Gluer machine as part of our high-performance production team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a Machine Operator for Flexo Folder Gluer machines in corrugated packaging. They will also demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude, and thrive in a fast-paced, safety-first manufacturing environment. 

Shift: 1st 6:00am to 2:30pm OR 2nd 2:30pm to 11:00pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor the Flexo Folder Gluer machine to produce quality corrugated packaging products.
  • Set up and adjust ensure accurate cutting, printing, and slotting according to job specifications.
  • Perform quality checks, including measurements, color registration, and box integrity, to meet or exceed standards.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues, perform basic maintenance, and communicate with maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production goals and minimize downtime.
  • Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and timely.
  • Assist with training new team members as needed.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience operating Flexo Folder Gluer or other converting machines in the corrugated industry (McKinley experience a plus).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety practices.
  • Familiarity with print registration, die-cutting, and box styles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read production work orders, safety instructions, and machine manuals.
  • Proficient in basic math and measurements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or coursework in industrial manufacturing or machine operation is a plus.
  • Proven track record of consistent attendance and strong work ethic in a manufacturing environment.


Physical Demands
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and handle large sheets of corrugated material.
  • Use hands to operate controls and tools; visual acuity required for detailed inspections.
  • Work in a loud, fast-paced environment with moving machinery and occasional exposure to dust, grease, or heat.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection as required.
