Job Summary:Lingo Staffing is searching for an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician in Rock Hill, SC. The candidate will have knowledge of working on and repairing industrial manufacturing machines. The Maintenance position is responsible for performing duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.Responsibilities and Duties:Machinery and Troubleshooting:
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
Perform mechanical and electrical skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLCs, and Ladder Logic.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns on machines, tools, and equipment.
Perform root cause analysis, as needed, to increase serviceability and reliability of equipment to improve performance.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust as necessary.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
Complete assigned projects as scheduled and within budget.
Ensure successful testing of equipment to confirm proper operation after repairs.
Foster a proactive maintenance environment instead of a reactive one.
Industrial & Mechanical Knowledge:
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and electrical drawings, as well as work orders, to perform required maintenance and services.
Possess knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controls), Allen-Bradley, Siemens Controls, and drive components.
Demonstrate knowledge of machinery, hydraulic and electrical components, and 24VDC/480VAC electrical systems.
Display aptitude in using various hand and power tools (screwdrivers, hammers, drills, etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers).
Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and industry advancements.
